MW-BACK UP UV3-25 BOARDS are backing boards with a wooden base, double-sided coated with a special composite film. The material has an exceptionally flat, hard, and smooth surface and an above-average high density (1000 kg/m³ ±50 g/cm³), making it suitable for all applications (for all hole diameters). It can be used on both sides and is particularly suitable for:

Drilling of high-tech printed circuit boards

Multilayer circuits
Flex-rigid circuits
Very flat material suitable for automatic production lines

MW-BACK UP BOARD UV3-25 provides excellent cleaning properties and optimal drilling performance for all demanding drilling processes, even at the highest drilling speeds and for the smallest holes.

The flat, hard yet flexible surface ensures excellent cutting quality with almost all drilling tools. The surface hardness is 82±5 N/mm².

Suitable for all hole diameters, including holes as small as 0.1 mm.

The very hard material with a density above 1000 kg/m³ offers excellent flatness with very small thickness tolerance, making it suitable for automatic production lines.

FOR SPECIAL APPLICATIONS WE RECOMMEND Lubricant melamine back up boards – LMW BACK UP, LMW25, which serve as a substitute for LCOA lubricant board.
