Material for solder masks

Contaval is a specially developed material for the production of solder masks. It is antistatic, lead-free process compatible, resistant to red light, and meets ESD requirements. The main advantages of its use are: • SMD components are protected from the BOTTOM side. • THT components are fixed from the TOP side of the PCBs. • For heavier PCBs, it is recommended and much easier to use a frame that provides stability. • Consistent soldering results are ensured, which is particularly important in the automotive industry.
