Antistatic Pertinax HP 2061.5 – high-performance paper-phenolic electrical insulator with ESD protection
Antistatic Pertinax HP 2061.5 is an enhanced version of the standard paper-phenolic sheet (HP 2061), further modified with antistatic properties to prevent electrostatic charge buildup. It is made of multilayered sheets of impregnated electrically insulating papers bonded with phenolic resin under high pressure and temperature.
This sheet combines the excellent mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties of classic Pertinax with the added safety of an antistatic surface. Therefore, it is suitable for environments where prevention of static electricity is essential, such as in the electronics industry, laboratories, production of sensitive electronic devices, and other ESD-controlled applications.
Main properties of Antistatic Pertinax HP 2061.5:
-
Antistatic surface: Reduces the risk of accumulation and uncontrolled discharge of electrostatic charges that could damage sensitive electronics or interfere with production processes.
-
High mechanical strength: Resistant to bending, impact, and wear, ensuring long-term use in various applications.
-
Excellent electrical insulation: High dielectric strength and low dielectric loss ensure reliable insulation at low and medium voltages.
-
Thermal resistance: The material is suitable for operation at temperatures up to approximately 120 °C without loss of properties.
-
Easy machining: Can be cut, drilled, ground, and shaped easily, allowing flexible manufacturing processes.
-
Cost-effective: Offers an excellent balance between performance and price, making it a highly economical choice.
Typical applications:
-
Antistatic work surfaces and bases in production facilities
