CARBON PREPREG

Carbon prepreg is essentially a carbon fabric impregnated with unreacted epoxy resin. It is used in the production of composite materials in autoclave and vacuum technologies. There are many types of carbon prepregs that differ by the type of carbon fibre, carbon fabric, and epoxy resin used, allowing for numerous combinations. The material is used for various mechanical reinforcements where high mechanical loads and low weight are required, such as in the sports, automotive, aerospace, and defence industries, as well as in marine and construction applications.
